​19-20 Mar 2018: 2nd Int'l Symposium on Respiraory Research

LKCMedicine cordially invites you to the 2nd International Symposium on Respiratory Research and the launch of “The Academic Respiratory Initiative for Pulmonary Health (TARIPH) at LKCMedicine” on 19th - 20th March ​2018 at the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine’s Novena Campus, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.

The occasion will be graced by Associate Professor Benjamin Ong (Director of Medical Services, Ministry of Health) who will launch ‘TARIPH at LKCMedicine’, a new initiative that aims to align strategic academic expertise across Singapore in a formal way to benefit Singaporeans suffering with lung disease through academic research.

The 2nd International Symposium on Respiratory Research will feature over 20 established, local and international speakers from Nanyang Technological University, the National University of Singapore, the University of Newcastle, Australia, Imperial College London, the Karolinska Institute, the University of British Columbia and the University of Groningen, Netherlands. Three scientific themes will be addressed over the 2-day event: (1) Respiratory Infection, t​he Microbiome and Chronic Respiratory Disease; (2) Bioengineering, Nanomedicine and Other Respiratory Innovations; and (3) Respiratory Physiology, Therapeutics and Service Impact.

All are welcome on the 19th and 20th March 2018 to learn about some of the latest scientific breakthroughs in respiratory medicine from a range of leading local and international clinicians and academics.
