Application Procedures

Eligibility
  • ​General practitioners, family medicine physicians and other Singapore Medical Council-registered specialists
  • Hold a primary medical qualification endorsed by the Singapore Medical Council
  • Hold a primary overseas medical qualification endorsed by the official medical council in your country
  • Doctors with conditional or temporary registration 

Course Fee
Full fees without subsidy: S$3,400 (before prevailing government tax of 7%)

Singaporeans and Singapore PRs may be eligible for the following subsidies:

Funding

Singapore Citizens are eligible for SkillsFuture Credit.

Registration
Registration is open annually from September to November.  
The outcome of the application will be released in December.

The next course will run from 1 January to 30 June, 2020.

Documents to submit for registration
  • Bachelor's degree certificate (soft copy)
  • Curriculum vitae with details of working experience / postings​ including a passport-size photo
  • Photocopy of NRIC / Employment Pass (front and back)

​Certificate of Completion
Participants will receive a certificate upon successful completion of the course. 
Participants are not allowed to be called Sports Physician.

CME Points

18 non-core CME points will be awarded to Singapore Medical Council​-registered doctors who have successfully completed the programme.


Payment of tuition fee 
(i) Payment instructions for local applicants

Cheque must be made payable to Nanyang Technological University - LKCMedicine” upon acceptance of the programme. Please notify our office via email (gradprog_LKCmedicine@ntu.edu.sg) and attach the offer letter in the email after mailing the cheque out.

(ii) Payment instructions for international applicants

Please make payment for the tuition fee via Telegraphic Transfer.

Applicants will have to pay for the fund transfer fee if they decide to make payment through telegraphic transfer (T/T) with their bank. The tuition fee has to be paid in full. Please email gradprog_LKCMedicine@ntu.edu.sg for the payment details. 

Once the telegraphic transfer (T/T) is completed, please notify our office via email (gradprog_LKCMedicine@ntu.edu.sg) and attach the offer letter for record purposes. 

Refund
There is no refund of fees once the applicant accepts the offer. 

Course deferment
There is no deferment allowed for this programme. 

Course withdrawal policy 

Students, who are admitted to the programme must write in to the School at gradprog_LKCMedicine@ntu.edu.sg, stating the reasons for the withdrawal to formally withdraw from the programme. However, there will be no refund of the course fee.
