LKCMedicine Postdoctoral Fellowship 2016
The Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine is a partnership between two of the world’s premier institutions of higher education, Imperial College London and Nanyang Technological University, Through the pursuit of internationally competitive research, we strive to make new medical discoveries that can be translated into better healthcare and improved quality of life for patients.
Research at LKCMedicine is focused on four key disease themes: Metabolic Disorders, Infectious Disease & Immunity, Dermatology and Neurology & Mental Health - which are intersected by cross cutting themes in Developmental & Regenerative Medicine, Chromosome and Genome Biology and Health Systems & Population Health.
To help foster the next generation of leaders in biomedical and clinical research in Singapore, we have introduced the LKCMedicine Postdoctoral Fellowship Award for early career stage researchers of exceptional promise.
Applications are now invited from outstanding young scientists for the LKCMedicine Postdoctoral Fellowship 2016.
Features of LKCMedicine Postdoctoral Fellowship
New or recent PhD graduates who have completed the research for their PhD within the last three (3) years and graduated from an internationally recognised university.
Research interests that align broadly with the LKCMedicine research themes
Singaporean citizens and Permanent Residents will have priority
- Up to S$300,000 over three (3) years
- Three years (non-renewable)
- Competitive remuneration
Prospective candidates should identify a suitable member of LKCMedicine Faculty to serve as their mentor and prepare a short (3 page max) Research proposal in consultation with the selected mentor.
